Permanent reduction.
Every skin tone.
Most laser hair removal clinics are calibrated for one skin type. PSRx is calibrated for all six. We select wavelength, fluence, and pulse duration based on your Fitzpatrick classification — not a default setting.
Precision at every
step of the protocol.
Laser hair removal only works on follicles in the active growth phase. Our protocol is timed to your hair cycle, not a generic schedule — so every session counts.
Safe across all six
skin types. By design.
Most laser systems are designed with lighter skin types as the default. PSRx treats all six Fitzpatrick types as primary — laser selection and fluence are calibrated per patient, every session.
Full body or
targeted areas.
Full bikini, extended bikini, or Brazilian. One of the most requested areas at PSRx. Protocol varies based on skin tone and hair density.
Full leg, upper leg, or lower leg. Typically requires 6–8 sessions. Session length varies by area coverage.
One of the fastest sessions. High efficacy area due to concentrated follicle density and consistent hair growth cycle.
Lip, chin, sideburns, full face, and neck. Hormonal factors are reviewed at consultation as they affect long-term results.
Full back, partial back, or shoulders. Typically a longer session. High-efficacy area for most skin types.
Full arms, forearms, or hands and fingers. Lower density areas may resolve in fewer sessions.
- Shave the treatment area 24–48 hours before your appointment — do not wax or pluck
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 4 weeks before treatment
- Discontinue retinoids and active acids 5–7 days prior to laser sessions
- No self-tanner on treatment areas for 2 weeks before your session
- Inform your provider of any new medications, especially photosensitizing drugs
- Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, deodorant, or makeup on treatment areas
- Redness and mild swelling in the treatment area is normal and typically resolves within 24–48 hours
- Avoid heat — hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment
- Apply SPF 30+ daily to treated areas, especially if exposed to sunlight
- Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate treated skin for 5–7 days
- Hair shedding in the 1–3 weeks following treatment is normal — this is the treated follicles releasing
- Contact PSRx immediately if you experience blistering, excessive swelling, or signs of burns
