PSRx was founded on one belief: that clinical-grade skin and body treatments should be accessible to everyone — especially those with melanin-rich skin who've been underserved by the industry for decades.

PSRx was built to close the gap in aesthetic medicine. Too many people — especially those with darker skin tones — have been turned away, undertreated, or harmed by providers who weren't trained for them. We exist to change that.

How we got here.
2018
The Idea Takes Root
A critical gap existed in aesthetic medicine — patients with melanin-rich skin were consistently under-served, misdiagnosed, or harmed by laser treatments never calibrated for them. PSRx was created specifically to fill that void: a practice built from the ground up around inclusion, safety, and clinical excellence for every skin tone.
2019
PSRx Opens in Chicago
Precise RX Body & Skin opened its first location at 850 S Wabash Ave in Chicago's South Loop. From day one, the practice exclusively used laser technology and protocols designed to work safely across all Fitzpatrick skin types.
2021
Precise Cares Launches
PSRx launched its 501(c)(3) nonprofit program, Precise Cares, offering free tattoo removal to members of the reentry community — including those formerly incarcerated, gang members, and trafficking survivors — removing visible barriers to employment and fresh starts.
2023
Precise Institute Launches
Recognizing the need for better training in the industry, PSRx launched Precise Institute — a professional education platform teaching licensed providers how to safely and effectively treat melanin-rich skin using laser and aesthetic techniques.
2026
Expanding to Greensboro, NC
PSRx is opening its second clinical location in Greensboro, North Carolina, bringing the same standard of inclusive, expert care to the Southeast. Virtual consultations are now available to NC clients ahead of the grand opening.
