Precise Cares exists to remove the physical marks that can hold people back from employment, housing, and a fresh start. We serve those with the courage to change.

Tattoos visible on the hands, neck, and face can create barriers to employment and reintegration. We help remove those barriers.

Traffickers often mark survivors with identifying tattoos. We provide free removal to help reclaim their identity and autonomy.

Gang-related tattoos can be dangerous to carry and limiting to opportunity. We support those who have left that life behind.

For those who wish to remove hate symbols or racist tattoos as part of their personal transformation, we provide free treatment.

The program specifically covers tattoos in the most visible and high-impact areas — the areas most likely to affect daily opportunities.

How to Apply

The application process.

Submit Your Application

Complete the online application at the Precise Cares program page. Share your story and describe the tattoo(s) you'd like removed.

Review Process

Applications are reviewed by the Precise Cares committee quarterly. We carefully evaluate each application to ensure we serve those with the greatest need.

Notification

Accepted applicants are notified by email and phone. We review all applications — acceptance is based on program criteria and available capacity.

04
Free Removal Sessions

Accepted clients receive free PicoWay laser removal sessions at our Chicago location. Sessions continue until the program area is treated.

For every client who completes their removal journey, PSRx provides a free removal to a qualifying applicant. The program is sustained by donations and community partnerships.
