Corrective care,
when a past treatment didn't go as planned.
If a past treatment left your skin worse than before, it's frustrating and often upsetting. You deserve a careful, honest look at what happened and what can be done now.
Corrective treatment is care for skin affected by a past cosmetic treatment, such as burns, dark or light patches, scarring, or tattoo removal that stalled or faded unevenly. These problems are more common on darker skin. PSRx assesses your skin first, then talks through options at consultation. Many concerns can be improved with time and the right plan.

Corrective Treatment FAQ.
Can laser damage on dark skin be fixed?
Often, yes. Dark patches, light patches and some scarring after laser can improve with time and the right plan. How much depends on what happened and how your skin has healed. Your provider examines your skin and tells you honestly what's realistic at consultation.
Will dark spots from a laser burn go away?
Many dark spots after a laser burn fade over months, especially with gentle care and daily sun protection. Some need treatment to fade further. Your provider checks the area and talks through options at consultation, chosen for your skin type and paced carefully.
Should I wait before getting more treatment?
Usually, yes. Skin that has been injured needs to heal fully before anything new is done, and sometimes it needs more time to settle. Your provider checks your skin and tells you when it's ready, so we don't add more irritation.
Do I need to bring records from my past treatment?
They help but aren't required. Any details you have, like the treatment name, dates, number of sessions and before-and-after photos, give your provider a clearer picture of what happened and what to do next. Bring what you have to your consultation.
What if my concern is outside what PSRx treats?
We'll tell you. If your concern needs a physician, dermatologist or other specialist, we'll explain why and point you in the right direction. Our goal is getting you the right care for what happened, even if that care is somewhere else.
