Dullness & rough texture,
refined for your skin type.
Dehydrated, rough or uneven skin texture addressed with progressive exfoliation and hydration treatments tailored to your skin type. Progressive, not aggressive — so skin brightens without the irritation that can leave deeper skin tones darker.
Dull skin usually has
more than one cause.
Rough, dull skin is often a mix of buildup on the surface, missing hydration and slowing renewal underneath.
Why deeper skin tones
need a different approach.
Exfoliation is where many treatments go wrong on melanin-rich skin. Strong acids and aggressive resurfacing can inflame the skin and leave dark patches — the opposite of a brighter result.
- ✦Progressive, not aggressive: gentle treatments built up over a series
- ✦Gentle acids like mandelic and lactic, chosen for low darkening risk
- ✦Barrier support built into every plan
- ✦Daily SPF, because exfoliated skin is more sun-sensitive

Dullness & Texture FAQ.
Is there downtime?
The Hydro Body & Skin treatment has zero downtime. Superficial peels usually cause mild flaking for a few days. Microneedling causes redness like a mild sunburn for a day or two.
Is exfoliation safe for dark skin?
Yes, when it is progressive. Gentle acids such as mandelic and lactic carry low darkening risk, while strong, high-concentration acids without skin prep can trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Your treatments are chosen for your skin tone.
How many treatments will I need?
Most skin programs require 4–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. The Hydro Body & Skin treatment is recommended as a series of 4–6.
What does vitamin C do for dull skin?
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that supports the skin's brightening and collagen pathways for a more even tone. Apply it in the morning under sunscreen, and replace it if it turns dark — that means it has oxidized.
Do I need sunscreen if I am exfoliating?
Yes. Exfoliation and peels make skin temporarily more sun-sensitive, and UV exposure can darken deeper skin tones. Daily broad-spectrum SPF protects your results.
Can I combine treatments?
Often yes — many treatments address several concerns at once. Your practitioner sequences them to treat dullness, texture and tone safely and efficiently.
